Esteban's Cookbook
In May 1977, Esteban's Mexican Resaurant opened at Ninth Street and Marquette Avenue in downtown Minneapolis. The Esteban's family expanded to Anoka, Rochester, Burnsville, Maplewood, Waite Park, South Minneapolis and Stillwater in Minnesota and LaCrosse in Wisconsin. Esteban's was an immediate success in the Twin Cities area, with its fajita platters, jumbo margaritas, and many more delicious Mexican dishes and combination platters. The Esteban's chain lasted until the closure of the final location in Stillwater in 2002. Esteban's memories are beloved by former employees and customers.
